About Dorota
After working as a freelancer and in salons, Dorota decided it was time to become an entrepreneur and begin her own business. "Polka" means "polish girl" in the polish language, which is exactly what Dorota is.
Dorota was born and raised in Poland, but after traveling to the United States and experiencing "beauty" across many different cultures, she was influenced to make a big move and has been living in the States ever since. For as long as she can remember, art and performance have been her passions.Her extraordinary vision towards makeup and beauty lead her to pursue a master's degree from MKC Beauty Academy in Hollywood, California. To further expand upon her experience and skills, Dorota decided to move to Denver and pursue an additional degree in esthetics.
While in Denver, Dorota also graduated from the School of Botanical Esthetics. She later became a master eyebrow micropigmentation artist who specializes in the art of microblading. She has extensive PMU training, including a 132 hour Permanent Makeup Artist Certification from Beauty Mark Skincare & Permanent Makeup by Erla Trujillo.
With 20 years of experience in beauty, fashion, commercial and TV, Dorota has a clear passion for making women look and feel beautiful.
